A24 booked the rights to distribute the film, and it looks like it will have a limited theatrical release in 2016, and I can’t wait!

Robert Eggers is the new director on the block, with this film, The Witch, being his directional debut. He also wrote the script and from what the ‘expert’ critics are saying, he is going to be one to watch. Evidence of that is that he has been given the go ahead to write and direct the ultimate remake of the German silent horror film, Nosferatu. In my opinion, the result of said remake, will either be the end of Robert Eggers career, if he stuffs it up, or it will be super huge, for him, if he nails it.
